Over the past year, we’ve gone through Philippians and 1 Samuel, reminding ourselves that comfort and success aren’t found in ourselves, but in knowing Christ and becoming more like Him. As we move into this new year, we are beginning a series through 1 John, 2 John, and 3 John, focusing on the call to fellowship and walking in the light.
Each Tuesday night, we begin our evening with worship. Our worship leader, Steven, helps shift our heart posture from simply singing about God to proclaiming truths about God directly to God. After worship, a lesson is taught with personal stories woven through Scripture to show how the Bible’s truths are present and relevant today.
Throughout the year, we have also hosted many outreach events to help us connect more deeply with the community. From beach trips in the summer to game nights and ramen nights in the fall, there has never been a dull moment. Through social media, we have had been able to connect with young adults across Sonoma County, which has led many believers to discover and join our Young Adults group.
As we look toward the next year, our goal is to increase outreach opportunities, glorify God, and meet young adults where they are in their walk with Christ, always pointing them toward Him in every season. We're excited to see how God will continue to work in the lives of those involved in Windsor Christian Young Adults.
