Men's Ministries

Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.

1 Corinthians 16:13

Last year, the men had multiple opportunities to gather together and either make new friends or strengthen their relationships with men they know here at the church. One of those opportunities was the Saturday Men’s Breakfast. On the first Saturday of the month, men gathered at 8AM for a time of enjoying a hot breakfast followed by a devotional or testimony that then lead to a time of reflection and prayer together.
Man Camp 2.0 took place October 4-6 at the Harbor Lite Lodge in Fort Bragg. This offered a warm hotel room to sleep in and a conference room for gathering to hear the speaker for the weekend, Dr. Derek Brown from The CornerStone Bible Seminary. Saturday during the day, activities such as deep sea fishing, hiking, golfing, and shooting were offered. This gave the men an opportunity to enjoy the company of fellow believers from Redemption Hill Church as we all met together for meals and to study God’s Word.
There were three opportunities for men to be involved in a Bible Study group. Chris Ule faithfully taught on Wednesday nights. Pastor Lance led a class on the Fundamentals of the Faith also on Wednesday night and on Thursday mornings Rhett Paro led a Bible Study. On top of our Men’s Breakfasts and Bible studies, we also had a Saturday work day at the church this past year. It was exciting to see men of all ages from high school to retirees working together to spruce up the church grounds.
